Dieting and Stress

Few people are totally satisfied with the way they look. Most carry negative self-images around that were formed in childhood. Others blame their appearance for their lack of success.

While making lifestyle changes to accommodate healthy eating and mild activity is highly recommended, crash and fad diets just won’t work. Likewise, overdoing exercise without proper planning can lead to injury and frustration. Here are a few tips to follow:

Eat smarter. It’s easy to cut back on eating for a few days to lose some weight, but eventually your body will rebel and you’ll end up overeating to compensate. Try finding a healthy meal program that fits into daily lifestyle, not one that requires drastic change.

Relax and enjoy yourself. You doing something really great for yourself, yet you may be feeling stressed and pressured to achieve certain goals. Do what feels most comfortable and use mild exercise in combination with your new meal plan to reduce stress and gradually build up more energy.
